Main purpose of the role

The main purpose of the role is to gain new business in the market as well as servicing existing clients secured whilst increasing the logistics spend of each customer.

Ability to compile rates proposals/Estimates and presentations
Ability to conduct customer implementation
All administrative functions within the sales environment. Eg: Estimates and rates proposals
Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12

• Advance computer literacy level in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint

• Minimum 2 - 3 years sales experience in Moving Company, Logistics, Supply Chain or Freight Forwarding/Shipping Line

• Own reliable vehicle

• Valid endorsed driver’s license

• Ability to work overtime when required

• Ability to travel

• Executive level engagement

• Operational implementation of new business signed.

• Contract negotiations

• Profit maximization

• Tender, proposal and contract development

• Stakeholder account and relationship management

• Consultative selling

• Opportunity analysis and qualification

• Fulfill reporting requirements including but not limited to CRM Tool management

• Ability to work under pressure.
