Large Company seeking top calibre Sales Engineer to ensure profitable market share growth through Power Systems Project sales, developing Power Systems solutions for regional customer Power Plant requirements & promote pre-integrated Power System Solutions
Minimum Requirements
-Matric or N3
-Diploma / technical qualification in electrical engineering (majoring in heavy current and/or electronics)
-Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
-Code 08 drivers licence
-Computer literacy
-MV Electrical, Power Generation Industry, market segment and distribution knowledge
-Defining large scale HHP / MW project system scope, design and objectives
-Minimum 3 year power systems sales and tender business experience
-Technical sales experience
-Key accounts management experience
Description
-Administration, reporting and communication process
-Use appropriate business systems and tools to perform sales administration and ensure procedure compliance.
-Notify the Sales Administrator on activities to update inventory position summary forecast and invoice schedules.
-Register opportunities in Siebel CRM program.
-Create, implement and monitor annual territory sales plan
-Develop key account and support plans per Siebel CRM program and ensure updates on a weekly basis.
-Improve team market intelligence by reporting industry, market segment, and customer trends.
-Provide forecasts and market reports for territory and championed products.
-Assist financial team in overdue debtor collection, leveraging customer relationships.
-Develop performance objectives with focus on achieving DAOP purchase targets and AOP sales targets. Manage objectives using OnTrack.
Compliance
-Ensure administration compliance to Company procedures, EXCEL Program, and Siebel CRM, etc
-Ensure compliance to safety regulations.
-Represent MI with integrity and adhere to all MI, PG, SAPG policies and procedures.
Sales activities
-Monitor the Government Gazette, municipalities, parastatals, private, daily newspapers and internet sites for tender notifications and identify opportunities to participate.
-Attend tender meetings and obtain appropriate submission information and documentation.
-Study tender and contract requirements, qualify customer specification requirements and develop solutions.
-Prepare quotations using appropriate tools, compile offers, bid and submission documents.
-Lead negotiating of transactions, offer advice, guidance and reference materials where necessary and close deals.
-Develop and maintain a documented pipeline of new power system project business opportunities.
-Conduct site surveys where the complexity of the enquiry demands a visit.
-Create and deliver sales information & product presentations to potential customers and/or delivery partners.
-Perform hand over meetings and work closely with Project Engineering and Management to ensure profitable execution.
-Perform key customer visits and manage relationships with Dealers, GOEM’s, and End Users.
-Perform sales activities at exhibitions, shows and customer events.
