Our client is looking to employ an experienced candidate to increase the profitability of its market share of their product line and service, as well as to maintain the existing client base. You will report to the Vice President, of Service Sales Africa.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement a strategy, to increase product sales & services to decision-makers, in the raw materials, steel and related industries, through a relationship-based approach.
Identify opportunities to increase the market share.
Maintain a visible and active presence in the market to facilitate the development of new business relationships, and maintain existing clients.
Consult with clients on appropriate products to utilise.
Negotiate contracts.
Proactively promote and sell new product developments.
Develop long-term relationships with key clients.
Research and analyse the market to understand key drivers.
Provide first-line product technical support to customers
Conduct product application audits at customer facilities.
Provide basic technical training to clients where required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Degree/Diploma in mechanical mining engineering.
Five years of experience in the mechanical field, in the mining & metals handling, Power transmission industry (Conveyors, Mills, Crushers, Pumps, Compressors etc.), and specific in-depth experience on high-speed gearboxes, and their application in industry.
Sound experience in selling, negotiating and concluding commercial service agreements/contracts.
