Our client is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to help them meet their customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping their company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing your sales team potential and crafting and implementing sales plans to ensure this. Ensuring customer satisfaction is key. Job Description
Achieve Sales Targets and GP budgets and remain within expense budgets
Implement and sustain Discount Matrix on the Cash (Retail and Account customers)
Achieve growth across all product ranges
Negotiate prices with suppliers and maintain stock at proper levels
Acquire New accounts and loyalty accounts, generate sales and revive dormant accounts
Managing staff to ensure all clients are served in a pleasant and efficient manner, that all paperwork is executed, systems updated, deliveries are made timeously and complaints are handled.
Regularly evaluate account & retail clients buying experience and adjust accordingly
Set specials, compare competitor pricing and monitor stock movement.
Make sure all clients contacted and visited on a monthly basis by appropriate staff
Ensure all transactions are dealt with as per set procedures
Ensure staff training is carried out, supply with updated supplier price lists and keep motivated.
Assist staff with large quotes and orders and help to close sales
Provide all relevant reports and report daily to Branch Manager
Willing to travel - Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Limpopo.

Minimum Requirements
Matric
Drivers License
Relevant Tertiary Qualification advantageous
Min 3-4 years’ experience in Sales Management.
At least 3-5 years’ experience within the steel industry – product knowledge / background and experience - ESSENTIAL
Product knowledge / background and experience in steel & tubing
