Sales/Office Manager (KMT017)

R20 000 – R25 000 per month CTC

Well established perishables manufacturing and distribution company based in Modderfontein is currently sourcing a Sales / Office Manager to join their team.
Previous experience dealing with retail outlets and bakeries advantageous but not required

Duties:
• Looking for a naturally positive leader who can motivate, energize and inspire a team
• Motivate the sales team to achieve results.
• Set benchmarks and develop reporting metrics that improve sales performance over the short, medium and long term.
• Play a role in improving customer service levels within the department
• Implement and ensure adoption of the CRM system.
• Coach and develop all members of the sales team and this includes team and individual meetings, appraisals and where necessary addressing performance related issues.
• Work in partnership with the management of the company on sales strategy in order to deliver sustainable sales growth.
• Deal with incoming sales and customer enquiries including queries, orders, returns and credits.
• Lead by example
• Ensure that calling schedules are adhered to and assist with vetting of new customers and distributors.
• Strategic thinker who is able to think outside the box and identify sales opportunities.
• Experienced in mentoring a team to achieve improved results.

Requirements
• MS Office computer skills (Mostly Excel)
• Excellent communication skills with strong listening skills.
• Skilled negotiator with a consultative sales approach who can successfully close sales over the telephone.
• Develop good working relationships with staff
• Work well with different departments and customers.
• Results and deadline driven
• Relevant Business Qualification but not essential
