What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Hazardous Industrial Equipment manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Sell Electrical Components for Hazardous Environments like Mines and Major Hazardous Installations

* Could Call and Network to Acquire new Customers

* Visit existing database do Clients to get new business

* Needs Analysis and Quotes

* Close Deals and Make Target

* Acquire New Mining and Major Hazardous Installation clients

* Accurately Identify Client Needs

* Attain Sales Target

Background work experience:

* 5 years Electrical Component Sales

* 2 years Major Hazardous Installations

* 5 years Cold Calling & Lead Generation

* 5 years Technical Needs Analysis

* Matric

* Ability to sell Major Hazardous Electrical Products

* An understanding of electrical components such as lights, switchgear, distribution boxes and cable glands

* Identifying target customers and cold calling, securing and appointment and landing a new client

* Working with maintenance managers to determine technical requirements of electrical components

* Understanding the legislation and requirements of Major Hazardous Installations such as Mines and Factories

* Advantageous: Electrician or Electrical Qualification

Location: Durban, Kwazulu-Natal

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R180K to R240K per annum basic. On target R1 Mil. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
