RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established organisation in the IT HARDWARE & SOFTWARE DISTRIBUTION industry to recruit a SALES TEAM LEADER to be based at their offices in RIVERHORSE VALLEY, DURBAN – approximately R18 000 to R20 000 basic + commission.

OUR CLIENT HAS BEEN IMPORTING AND DISTRIBUTING LEADING EDGE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMPONENTS THROUGHOUT SOUTH AFRICA SINCE THE LATE 1980’s

Overall Purpose of the Position

To lead the sales team to increase sales and profitability in the greater Durban and coastal areas and Pietermaritzburg.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

A minimum of 3 years sales experience.
At least two years sales management experience.
IT industries experience, essential.
A sales and marketing qualification, an advantage.
Own vehicle.
Valid driver’s licence.
Live in the greater Durban area.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

Take charge of the DBN sales budget.
Close deals.
Take over a small customer base.
Lead a sales team of four staff.
Run weekly sales meetings.
Conduct monthly performance reviews.
Daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
Travel to PMB, South Coast and North Coast

Remuneration:

R18 000 to R20 000 basic + commission
