Insurance Brokerage is seeking an experienced Sales Team Leader to manage a diverse sales team in Port Elizabeth, Queenstown and King Williamstown
Must have sound supervisory experience and must be able to get up to speed quickly.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Building:
• To maintain and grow current and new business relationships/partnerships in alignment with contracted growth and profitability targets
• To manage a portfolio of business through analysis, interpretation and decision-making while building effective relationships with Advisors.
Management of staff:
• Responsible for the growth and development of the employees
• Responsible to manage and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets
• Training and motivation of staff
• Supervision of FAIS related activities
• Management of compliance related tasks
Stats and Sales Targets:
• Gather, interpret and analyze data for each channel of business
• Apply sound Risk Management in policy level decision-making
• Collating data and analysis of sales and financial stats
• Conduct competitor and market intelligence analysis
• Premium collection experience
Qualifications:
• RE and FAIS compliant
Experience & Skills:
• 3 years managerial experience in a sales environment essential
• 2-4 years in a sales environment in the Short Term Industry
• Senior sales management experience within brokerage or call centre environment with insurance background essential
