Sandton, Johannesburg: RESERVATIONIST
Minimum Requirements:
-Well presented and professional (female preferred)
-Afrikaans and English first and second languages a must (Key Requirement - Afr & Eng client base)
-Matric / Grade 12
-Galileo Training Certificate preferred
-Minimum 3 years recent reservations experience within an Inbound Tour Operator in the Travel Industry a must (Key Requirement)
-Computer literate in Galileo
-Reliable and honest
-Eager to be part of a team
-Friendly and positive personality
-Excellent communication skills
-Non smoker
-Own reliable vehicle to work
-Willing to commit to long term employment with company
-Stable employment record a must (no job hoppers, no unreasonable gaps in employment record, long term employment at previous employers etc.)
-Contactable References a must
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Make reservations at establishments for clients
-Issue tour packages and Domestic and Regional flights on Galileo system
-Compile charter quotations
-Typing itineraries and vouchers for clients
-Compiling documentation in travel wallet
-Finalize ground operations from accommodation, guides, transport and entrance fees
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience (market related)
