SAP S4 Senior Programme Manager required in Johannesburg, with experience in SAP S4 Hana implementation projects preferably in the Mining industry. IT related qualification with 5+ years’ experience in large scale SAP S4 Hana Programme Management and working in an Agile environment is required.

Management Duties
• Project Manager/ Programme Manager/Director for S4Hana implementation.
• Responsible for ensuring that the SAP programme is delivered within scope, quality, time, and budget requirements.
• Managing a portfolio of Project managers and Implementation partners.
• Managing Client and Stakeholder relationships at Programme level on Steerco meetings
• Providing leadership and project feedback to project team and the client in an SAP environment.
• Manage expectations of the Client, Stakeholders, and global business partners.
• Managing project planning and scheduling. (Plan and Actuals).
• Ensure the effective use of Project Management tools to drive Risk Management, Issue Management, Documenting Variation Orders, Assumptions and Decisions.
• Present formal presentations and executive summaries to senior management to provide recommendations and status updates.
• Establish scope, Programme Governance, Project planning, Project Risk management, Project execution, Testing, Cutover and Stakeholder management.
• Advising clients on project governance and best practices.
• Developing work plans and co-ordinating the activities of the project teams.
• Working with the client in dedicated workshops to determine project definition and business requirements including legislative requirements.
• Responsible for creation of detailed project plan in MS Project using Agile methodology.
• Effective Scope management throughout the Programme.
• Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
• Convey and report status to executives, global business partners and all other key stakeholders.

Requirements
• Tertiary qualification preferred.
• Experience with S4 implementation Project (Heavy industry / Mining Industry)
• The implementation is only expected next year but with planning activities due this year.
• The ideal individual would have implemented large scale S4 project across all functional areas.
• Experience in the mining industry would be preferred.
• Experience with creation of detailed project plan in MS Project using Agile methodology.
• Excellent communications and presentation skills.
