A very large clearing & forwarding and shipping company is currently looking to fill the role of Sea-freight Manager in the shipping sector.
Requirements:
• Minimum of Grade 12 / Matric.
• 1st degree (BCom) or Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Logistics /Freight / Transportation Level 5.
• Approximately 7 years in a freight related environment – focusing on Imports & Exports.
• 4 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Ability to work unsociable hours as and when required.
• Ability to grow and develop the division by continuous growth and devilment of the team.
• Astute knowledge of financial applications within a business (budgeting, financial statements).
• Focused, creating the opportunity for innovation and creativity to take the division to the next level.
