SUMMARY

Our client, a global BPO firm situated in the heart of Cape Town requires an experienced Security Architect to join their team to provide Technical Security advice and guidance with a focus on the Group and the South African footprint. As the Security Architect you will be involved with multiple projects whilst producing and publishing tailored Security Best Practice guidance

RESPONSIBILITIES

Security risk assessments on new systems and services
Working with businesses and various stakeholders to review designs and they are in line with existing security principles
Define, document and implement more security patterns
Reviewing current security processes
Working with the wider Security Architecture teams to ensure a standardised approach to security is defined and followed
Implementation of security controls and measures

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree ideal, including Security Certifications
Azure certification is ideal
Experience in common frameworks
Experience in using SABSA
Reviewing solution designs
Strong understanding of Threat Modelling frameworks and implementation
Ability to deconstruct complex environments and navigate conflicting project requirements
Prior experience working as a Security Architect in a medium-large environment is essential
