Senior Actuarial Product Lead

The team develops simple, yet innovative investment propositions that are relevant to customers’ needs.

• Understanding the changing regulatory environment, customer needs and market dynamics, and designing innovative and relevant solutions to maintain a competitive advantage in the market and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Working closely with business unit partners (customer segments, distribution channels, IT, Servicing, Finance, Marketing etc) to ensure a common understanding of the investment requirements
• Management functions can include strategy, segment stakeholder engagement, product enhancements, product support, and improving customer value.
• Articulating product requirements to IT partners and ensuring the accuracy of the resulting output.
• Supporting our proposition management and technical marketing functions in the ongoing maintenance and support of retail investment propositions.
• Managing and mentoring a team of high-performing professionals.
• In this role, there is a strong focus on:
• managing the existing book of Retail Investment business, ensuring that margins are managed, while continuing to offer customers value for money.
• managing the tools and sales aids utilized by the sales force, ensuring that customers receive advice and insights that are relevant, and are purchase solutions that meet their needs.

• Nearly qualified or qualified actuary
• A passion for investments
• Experience at managing and mentoring a team of professionals
• An understanding of savings and income products, particularly the investment industry
• Prior experience working in the product space l4.5o
