Audit Senior
Qualifications and experience:
• Must have a consistently good academic record
• Must have articles with a medium sized firm.
• BCom degree
Skills and knowledge:
• Excellent mathematical ability
• Strong Microsoft Excel Caseware experience if possible
• Be fluent in English and have good communication skills
Attitude:
• Passionate about the audit profession
• Enjoys working in an audit team and assisting audit clerks
• High degree of motivation
• Has accounting, tax and audit hands on experience.
• Able to work independently and take ownership
• Able to work under pressure and deadline orientated
• The responsibilities of the position include the following
• Performing a full audit from planning to finalisation;
• Reviewing work performed by trainees and audit files prior to presentation to managers;
• Monitoring audit budgets and meeting deadlines;
• Preparing tax computations and completing tax returns timeously;
• Own transport essential (including valid SA driver’s license)
