Job objective Primary objective:
Capturing of cashbook and payments and reconciliation of suppliers. Prepare journals, reconcile inter-company transactions and balances, reconcile and collect debtors’ balances, reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts. Assist with monthly information and support Accountant in carrying put the responsibilities of the accounts department.

Duties
- People Contribute to the financial team’s overall action plan as per set work activities
Ability to communicate with a variety of individuals on all levels in order to obtain and confirm information
- Processes - Process cashbooks
- Process suppliers
- Process journals
- Processing of creditors reconciliation
- Prepare and issue invoices for inter-company loan account
- Balance inter-company loan accounts and prepare payments
- Customer invoicing on request
- Debtors’ collections
- Maintain fixed assets register
- Filing of supporting documents
- Preparation/review of payment requests
- Processing payments on the bank
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial statements and annual budget
- Compile specific balance sheet reconciliation schedules
- Prepare VAT and turnover reconciliations
- Preparation of daily cashflow
- Assist Financial Manager and Accountants to fulfill other responsibilities within the Finance Department
- Assist with Fund registrations - SARS
- Technology Apply systems and tools as provided
Adhere to the company’s IT and security policies
Experience on working in Sage Evolution and VIP would be an advantage
- Finance / Growth Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
Preparation of management information

Job Evaluation Criteria Formal Education
Grade 12 with Accounting
Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping/Accounting or equivalent

Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping/accounting function.
