PURPOSE OF POSITION
Understanding the client’s business requirements and through a structured process, modelling,
validating and translating it into business requirement specifications that are used by developers
to design a solution.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Liaising with the Client and RedScreen team re project;
• Gather and interpret requirements from the clients;
• Participate in the solution design process;
• Prepare requirement specifications;
• Analyse and breakdown relevant business processes;
• Performing business analysis and process improvement with the scope of work;
• Provide assistance on implementation;
• Assist with system testing;
• Ensuring that assigned Jnr BA is provided a job card and that the tasks assigned to the Jnr BA is executed
• Attend daily meetings related to the project and their deliverables
• Attend and contribute Weekly Client Demo sessions
• Accurately logging time entries daily and that Jnr BA has logged their time entries correctly.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Overall 3+ years of BA experience;
• Business Process Modelling (BPM) knowledge;
• Business Writing skills;
• Presentation and Facilitation skills;
• Data Modelling experience;
• Software Engineering Methodologies (SDLC) etc;
• High-level technology (Database structure etc.)
• Reporting tools
• UML Modelling Tools
• Testing Tools
• Requirements Management Tools
• Mindmap
• Prototyping Tools
• MS Office
• Financial / Banking industry exposure (Advantageous).

SOFT SKILLS
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Must be a good listener
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong analytical, mathematical and creative-problem solving skills;
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Ability to handle all situations professionally
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Must be motivated and self-driven
• Must be a team member
• Management experience

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum required)
Relevant Tertiary IT Qualification or Certificate/Diploma in Business Process Analysis from industry recognized training institution
