Our client seeks a Senior Customs Clerk to join the Clearing and Forwarding Department in Durban.

Minimum Requirements:
- Knowledge of Customs and Excise requirements for movement of goods outside South Africa
- Tariff classifications experience
- Engaging with Customs on issues
- Minimum 6 years Customs experience
- Good mathematical and analytical skillsets.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to assist with problem-solving and delivering on expectations.
- Matric
- Certification in Customs Clearing & Forwarding.
- Logistics Diploma will be an advantage.
- At least intermediate Excel level.
- Working knowledge of Compuclear.
- Epicor knowledge an advantage.
- Solid Clearing and Forwarding Exports experience required.
- Sound knowledge of shipping documents & procedures required.
- Experienced in dealing with SARS and Customs Rates
