As a Senior Data Analyst you will be responsible for interpreting and analysing large and complex data sets to identify trends and insights that will help drive business decisions. Provide support & guidance on data analytics to Digital development squads across the business. Act as Chapter Lead for the Data Analytics to ensure best practice is applied consistently across the company.

Context and environment:
Internally, the job holder has interfaces with all departments in the affiliate and Information Services (IS) contacts.
Externally, the job holder is responsible for representing the company with vendors and suppliers and amongst industry peers.
The job holder manages: Business analysis and consultancy, for part of product development, implementation and support, project management and translate business requirements/processes into structured, supportable solutions.
Develop self-services reporting and support future citizen data analyst that reside in the business.

Accountabilities:
Data Collection: Collecting and organizing large datasets from various sources and ensuring data quality and accuracy.
Data Analysis: Analysing complex data sets using statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
Data Visualization: Creating visual representations of data such as charts, graphs, and dashboards to make complex information more understandable and accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
Data Reporting: Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights to relevant stakeholders.
Data Mining: Extracting and analysing data from various systems and sources to discover hidden patterns and trends.
Data Modelling: Developing mathematical and statistical models to predict future trends and outcomes.
Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement and developing recommendations for improving data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Data Governance: Ensuring that data is managed and secured in accordance with established policies and regulations.
Collaborating: Working closely with cross-functional teams including IT, business analysts, and management to ensure alignment of data analysis with business objectives
Continuously Learning: Keeping up-to-date with new data analytics techniques and tools to enhance analysis and insights.

Functional Expertise:
Collect, analyse and interpret complex data sets, and identify patterns and insights.
Develop and maintain analytical dashboards, reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key metrics, define data requirements, and validate data accuracy and completeness.
Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and measure the effectiveness of solutions.

Use data visualization tools to present insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
Continuously improve data collection processes, data models, and analysis methods to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Assist in the development team of end-to-end solutions for new and existing digital projects.

Collect and analyse data to support business decisions and drive insights.
