Experience and Qualification:

10-15 Years’ experience within an engineering design and project office environment.
Relevant technical qualification, Degree or Diploma or qualification in Project Management / Planning.
Relevant project planning and scheduling experience using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Contract Period: Yearly Contract (Can be extended based on performance and Clients Requirements)

Location: Pinelands, Cape Town

Working Hours: Normal Working Hours: 8:00 – 16:00

Responsibility:
* Accountable for developing and managing the schedule for all engineering work
* Monitor all associated detailed schedules, provide accurate reports on progress, variance to plan, root causes and remedial actions
* Build a database of tasks and duration of design work and actual performance for future use in estimates

Competency in Software:
MS Office 2013: MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Outlook and Advanced MS Excel (Vlookup)
Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Requirements:
Experience working in a team environment
Strong planning/scheduling skills
Attention to detail is imperative
Must be able to work under pressure is very important
Must be deadline driven
