Our client, who is an industry leader in providing sophisticated engineering services to the onshore and offshore oil and gas industries, is looking to appoint a Senior Human Resources Manager. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. The person will also develop policy, direct and coordinate human resources activities, such as recruitment, personnel development and training, compensation and benefits, payroll administration and will manage the HR department and related objectives.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the main responsibilities of the position and of the HR team are:

Manage the HR Department;
In coordination with the management and the Group HR manager, set the department goals and priorities and assign mission and tasks according personnel competencies;
HR policies and procedures;
In the relation with the management, develop, revise, and recommend personnel policies and procedures that support the company strategy, goals and culture;
Make sure that policies and procedures are communicated, understood and applied; and
Make sure KR processes policies and procedures complies with company certifications requirements (ISO, OHSAS etc.)

Other duties will include;

Recruitment;
Personnel Development and training;
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable labor regulations;
Personnel Administration and payroll; and
Compensation and benefits.

Qualifications / Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in HR Management; at least 5 years’ experience on a generalist HR management position including the management of a team, preferably in the metal/engineering industry; knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, performance and development management; excellent computer skills, especially Excel, time and attendance, payroll and HRIS systems; experience in managing international mobility; and leadership/inter-personal skills.
