One of our cleints, a reputable Chartered Accounting Firm, is looking to employ a Senior Internal Audit Manager at their offices in Johannesburg. Overall Description of Role: Reporting to the Partner.This person will be expected to manage complex internal audit/risk advisory work, involving multiple teams and multi-disciplinary projects in line with the audit methodologies. The incumbent will actively seek to identify opportunities, must be a role model who demonstrates leadership, positive attitude, initiative and commercial management experience within the workplace and with clients. It is further expected at this level, that the individual will take responsibility for developing others and themselves in the relevant skills for this role. Qualification and Experience: •CA (SA) - Preferred •CIA - Compulsory •Demonstrate relevant experience in business, audit and / governance •A minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in internal audit / risk management at a senior level •Exceptional analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) •Proven track record of achievement, including ability to work at a senior level, strategic focus and operational grounding in organizations • Expert in people management skills • Demonstration leadership ability •A team player • The ability to get things done under tight deadlines •The ability to demonstrate strategic business thinking • Project management experience in managing multiple projects •Significant sales and client relationship management experience •Sound professional judgment •The incumbent must be prepared to travel for work purposes
