Sovereign Foods, a national supplier of top quality poultry products to markets via various brands is seeking to employ a Senior Inventory Controller for its Feedmill operations in the Agriculture department.

This position holds the TASK Grade T09 and reports directly to the Senior Production Manager. The successful incumbent should be in the possession of a matric certificate or equivalent and have good computer literacy. At least 5 years of administration/accounting experience is required. A bookkeeping or financial qualification would be an advantage.

Results Required:

• Compile daily stock reconciliation reports on all raw materials, finished goods, premixes and sales and report on variations;
• Verify and capture month-end stock-taking totals on Syspro;
• Daily issuing of raw materials to finished goods on Syspro;
• Update all raw materials deliveries on contract schedules;
• Matching of supplier invoices on raw materials to GRN’s;
• Load recipe into process control system;
• Load bill of materials on Syspro;
• Check trip sheets and reconcile to Syspro invoices;
• Reconcile sales and cost of sales at month-end and report.
