Senior IT Audit Specialist / Consultant | Fixed Term Contract

Are you a seasoned IT Audit professional with a track record of excellence in the private sector—especially within mining or financial services?

We are on the lookout for experienced Senior IT Audit Specialists / Consultants to join us for projects on a fixed-term contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise to high-impact projects within dynamic and demanding environments in the mining and financial services sectors.

Key Responsibilities
In these roles, you will:
• Conduct end-to-end IT audits, including IT General Controls (ITGC), application control reviews, and IT governance assessments.
• Assess compliance with internal governance frameworks such as King IV, ITIL, and COBIT.
• Evaluate business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.
• Perform project and application reviews, delivering actionable insights to enhance systems control environments.

Minimum Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
• A BSc or BCom degree in IT Audit, Internal Audit, Computer Science, or a related field (essential).
• 7+ years of hands-on IT audit experience, ideally across various industries.
• At least 3 years of experience in the mining or related sector (highly preferred).
• Strong expertise in application control and project reviews.
• A deep understanding of internal audit methodologies, best practices, and risk frameworks.
• Exposure to insurance industry audits is advantageous.
• Professional certifications: CISA and/or CIA (completed or in progress).
• Solid experience with private sector clients is preferred.
