Senior IT Systems and Desktop Support – Roodepoort, West Rand, Johannesburg
Manufacturing company – looking for a Senior IT Systems and Desktop Support, a go-getter who has worked on Servers & Firewalls.

Job Description
1. To create and design models and specifications
2. Assist System Programmers & Development Teams
3. Integrate servers, including database, email & backup servers, and their associated software into enterprise systems
4. Monitor & test system performance, prepare & deliver performance statistics and reports
5. To problem solve and, maintain all software / hardware problems related to IT
6. Assisting the all staff with any IT or system problems
7. Provide training to staff for all modified and new systems
8. Reporting on problems and solutions
9. Meeting Deadlines

Qualifications & Experience / Skills:
• Matric / Grade 12 + tertiary education
• Experience of maintaining and controlling IT systems
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT problem solving
• Must have very good communication skills
• Be able to work under pressure
• Strong Problem solving abilities

• Hardworking/ Punctual/ Motivated
• Self-disciplined/ Flexible/ Able to work under pressure
• Independent thinking
• Must be able to work the hours required by the job.

Salary: R20k – 25k CTC pm, negotiable with experience
