Plan and Maintain the office infrastructure for a healthy work environment; Manage Technical Service Contracts and Service Level Agreements;
Manage Security and Cleaning Services; Establish work procedures and processes for all hard services, soft services and business support functions; Accountable for planning, scheduling, monitoring and execution all maintenance related aspects, building information management systems, planned inspections and auditing of building(s) within the portfolio; Identify, evaluate, prioritize and implement energy and water cost optimisation and smart building initiatives; Representation in project design and site meeting in the case of developments, refurbishments and extensions; Regulating framework tracking and reporting to ensure compliance to legislation as well as business operating practices and procedures; Direct the development, implementation and monitoring of an effective strategy to mitigate risks, and maintain continuity of operations.
Degree/Post graduate diploma (NQF level 7) Environment-related subject or a degree in a related discipline. 1 year experience in Green Building Facilities Management and 5-8 years’ experience in Facilities at a Managerial Level; A working knowledge of building management, preventative maintenance programs, mechanical equipment, air conditioning, fire systems, emergency power and the OHS Act; Registration with South African Facilities Management Association (SAFMA) will be an added advantage; Analytical and problem solving skills; Attention to detail, and the ability to see the implications for the bigger picture; Project Management, including construction related projects; Time management.
