Our client, in the retail industry, requires the service of a Senior Manager who will be responsible for the Mobile Virtual Network Operator business by managing operations and innovating with the various internal business units.

Key performance areas:

? Responsible for the day-to-day relationship between the telecoms business unit and partners by assisting in achieving the agreed objectives
? Responsible for the day-to-day business management of the telecoms business unit within the company and achieving the agreed objectives
? Facilitating legal agreements and setting strategic direction to the team to ensure focus on profitability, customer and branch support.
? Act as the business liaison manager for Commercial, Product, IT and Billing related aspects
? Manage the P&L of the business and make decisions accordingly.
? Development of new products and services within the business unit.
? Dealing and negotiating commercials and rates with suppliers (internal and external).
? Support company and partners with respect to all IT system related aspects such as on-going business requirements-to-solution alignment, improvements to the existing solutions, managing changes, enhancements, upgrades and operational support
? Share responsibility for project execution plans in conjunction with other role players

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a Post Graduate Degree in Commerce/Finance, Information or Computer Science Qualification in IT
? ± 5 Years’ financial environment, telecoms industry, financial reporting, payments industry and retail experience.
? ± 10 Years’ experience in Business development
? Must have knowledge of Telecoms, Business Management Telecoms, Product Catalogue Management, Telecoms Business Support, Customer Care, Telecoms Provisioning and Billing Telecoms Business Support Systems
? Knowledge of Telecoms legislation
? Knowledge of basic Taxation laws and Business Intelligence
? Knowledge of retail / FMCG
? Knowledge of Payment systems and banking (credit card switching, acquiring and issuing) will be advantageous
? IT Financial Accounting will be advantageous
