My client based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is currently urgently recruiting a Senior Manager: Treatment & Disposal
Excellent management and leadership skills.
Preparation of executive level reporting and related presentations.
Thorough understanding, development and implementation of solid waste management treatment, disposal, transfer and environmental compliance and rehabilitation operations.
Demonstrated knowledge, expertise and implementation of best practice in solid waste management.
Demonstrated understanding and application of international codes and standards (preferable), legislation, regulations and policies on solid waste and resources management with a particular focus on treatment, disposal, site rehabilitation and environmental compliance development and auditing.
Demonstrated knowledge of environmental compliance frameworks.
Demonstrated knowledge of both 'in house' and contract service model for waste treatment and disposal operations.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel);
Excellent communications skills (writing, conflict management, presentation, inter-personal);
Ability to initiate and implement projects with teams.
Bachelor's Degree in environmental engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline. Masters Degree in relevant subject (preferred).
Qualifications in people management (preferred).
Minimum of 10 years' experience (preferably in KSA) in solid waste management.
Certification and Membership in related professional association/s.
