Our client, a leader in the engineering industry, is looking for a dynamic individual to take up the role of Senior Mechanic and become a part of their team!

Main purpose of the job

To carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on all machinery


Requirements (qualifications, experience & skills)

- Must have a Grade 12/Matric certificate

- Must be a qualified Diesel Mechanic (Earthmoving Equipment)

- Must have 10 years experience post obtaining a trade qualification

- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in Field Service Earthmoving Equipment

- Multi-brand repair experience will be an advantage

- Must have a valid driver's license

- Must be able to work in a team and independently

- Basic computer skills (MS Office)

- Customer service orientated

- Able to work under pressure


Role responsibilities

- Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on all machinery

- Maintain a high standard of workmanship

- Perform stand-by duties and willing to work overtime

- Maintain a smooth work flow

- Co-operate with colleagues

- Promote the company's image

- Assist with branch activities, as directed
