INTRODUCTION
One of SA's most exclusive Boutique Hotels and Private Villa’s requires a highly skilled Pastry CDP to run the section with 2 Demi CDP’s and to assist with production of Patisserie, Confectionery, Bread Baking, High Tea, Room Snacks and Fine Dining Desserts. Overseas guests & high-profile visitors are attracted to the incredible luxury and unique experience offered by this premium establishment.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2 or 3 year recognized professional/classical/formal culinary or pastry qualification
Minimum 4 years industry work experience within a highly skilled / Fine Dining a la carte environment
Advanced / Specialised skills evident in Pastry, Artisan Bread Baking, Confectionery and PLATED Desserts
Good personal appearance and hygiene and confidence to prepare and plate desserts in front of guests
Effective communication skills, highly proficient in English and an outgoing personality
Must be comfortable to create new dishes daily with SEVERAL detailed plating components and INNOVATIVE garnish ideas
Good planning skills, organized and work efficiently and hygienically
ADDITIONAL
Basic Salary offered R13 000.00 – R15 000.00 + live-in benefits
