Our client in the retail industry requires the services of a dedicated Senior People Master Data Specialist to provide oversight of People Master Data across the People function and to monitor and analyse people master data.

Key performance areas:

? Responsible for leading the practices in terms of design and maintenance of people data systems.
? Establish People data management protocols aligned with company standards.
? Ensuring quality of master data.
? Implementing data strategies to ensure the learning data is accurate.
? Ensure integrity, accuracy and thoroughness of data.
? Ensure quality of data.
? Manage revision needed to best meet internal customer requirements.
? Identifying areas of data quality for improvements and resolving quality data problems.
? Manage and safeguard data as prescribed by legislative and company requirements such as POPI, including data sharing agreements in consultation with the department head.
? Integrate data sources from various systems for the use of data analytical processes.
? Oversee the loading of master data as required by various functional areas.
? Monitoring of People Systems team costs.

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a relevant degree in B.Sc. in Computer Sciences, Systems or equivalent degree.
Or
3 – 5 Year’s relevant experience with a proven track record of delivering master data analysis or QA on People Systems.
? Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Systems master data or data QA analyst orientated or equivalent.
? Experience working with large and complex data sets using appropriate tools. (Such as: MySQL, Bigquery, R, Python, Excel, Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense).
? Experience within the FMCG, retail sector or similar would be advantageous.
