What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the frozen food manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Manage Food QC Processes
* Manage QC Staff
* Develop QC for New Food Products
* Ensure Food is Fresh, Safe and Conforms to Spec
* Implement FSSC 22000 Standard

Key Job Deliverables:

* Ensure compliance to FSSC 22000
* Ensure food meat meets highest safety and quality standards
* Ensure accurate food quality reporting

Background work experience:

* 5 years FSSC 22000, ISO 22002-1, FSSC Additional Requirements
* 5 years Food Safety in Manufacturing
* 5 years Setting Up Food Safety - Control System
* 5 years Food Contamination Prevention
* Food Science Degree or Quality Management Degree
* Implement and Manage FSSC 22000 QC Department
* Implementing FSSC 22000 standards in a meat manufacturing environment
* Practically Setting up food safety best practices in a manufacturing environment
* Optimising and improving existing food safety management systems
* Ensuring that food does not become contaminated
* Advantageous: Specific Experience in Cooked Foods QC

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R480K to R960K per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
