We have an amazing job opportunity for a Senior Research Executive to join a leading global data and insights company. One of their international products is launching in South Africa for the first time, so this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small but dynamic ‘start up’ team that is looking to deliver best in class service using proven data capture methods and analytical tools.


Your key job responsibilities as the Senior Research Executive in Johannesburg will include:

- Act as the primary contact to a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring the highest level of client servicing
- Regularly responding to client briefs in an insightful and impactful way and producing and presenting these to a very high standard
- Identifying further potential revenue opportunities
- Running data using the proprietary software and being an expert in understanding key metrics and how they can answer business issues
- Training the client-side team to access and interpret the basic data, once the online client portal is up and running
- Producing standard reports and tables containing key data, until the online client portal is up and running


Requirements for this Senior Research Executive job in Johannesburg:

- To succeed in this role, you need to be an experienced market researcher who has an ability to distil large amounts of data into clear nuggets of insight and has a motivation to delivering outstanding client service

- B.Comm, B.Bus Sci or B.Sc Degree
- 2-3 years’ experience in market research
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to create insightful and impactful presentations
- Relationship and account building experience, with a desire to deliver outstanding client service
- Ability to identify additional revenue opportunities
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
- Passionate and enthusiastic about the market, our business, and working as a team
- Inquisitive and pro-active
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Strong presentation skills
