Senior Sales Team Leader:

The ideal candidate would have experience leading a sales team in a call center setting, and an excellent track record of their Sales Agents meeting sales targets. A love of teamwork is favourable as the Senior Sales Team Leader will manage their team members to evolve them into sales soldiers. Candidates capable of working independently without supervision are preferred. Your role would include overseeing a team of Sales Advisors, supporting agents to deliver success against their KPIs and sales targets, and devising and implementing sales strategies to increase our client pipeline!

The Senior Sales Team Leader position offers a basic salary of R16K – R18K per month depending on your level of experience, with a commission structure based on your team's performance! This is a full-time position: we don’t work on weekends or public holidays and tend to leave work early on Friday afternoons!

Basic Requirements:

• Candidates must have their Matric/ Standard 10
• Candidates must have clear ITC and criminal records
• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ Sales Agent experience
• Candidates must have a minimum 2 years’ experience leading a sales team
• Candidates must have intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Candidates must understand lead management and data performance

• Capable of managing agent compliance in line with best industry practice
• Capable of managing performance and develop agents into sales soldiers
• Capable of dealing with conflict and resolve internal staffing issues
• Office skills or equivalent interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to demonstrate initiative
• Account management knowledge
• Administrative experience
• Great people management skills

Duties:

• Managing a team of Senior Sales Advisors
• Optimizing sales and conversions
• Supporting agents to deliver success against their KPIs and targets
• Daily coaching, mentoring and managing objections
• Supporting agent compliance in line with best industry practices
• Devising and implementing sales strategies in order to increase client pipeline
• Human Resources administration and performance management
• Conducting team meetings
• Data workflow management
• Managing team stats
• Effectively managing sales leads
