A leading call centre rendering IT support to overseas clients is looking to appoint a Senior Share Point Developer (IT). This person should be able to perform a range of complex technical work and be able to co-ordinate small teams and to provide technical leadership.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
ยท Perform a complex range of technical work activities either remotely or at customer site to meet business and customer requirements; Contribute to the design and implementation of solutions to meet customer and contract requirements; Coordinate small teams delivering basic work packages in line with company process to meet business and customer requirements; Analyse, Document and report on work completed to ensure compliance with Company and Customer Procedures; Ensures that operational documentation is fit for purpose and current to meet customer and contract requirements; Develop best practice procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent compliance to customer and company procedures; Provides specialist guidance and advice to less experienced colleagues to ensure consistent approach; Escalate issues in line with company processes to ensure customer demands are met; Able to communicate on complex issues to meet business and customer requirements to avoid escalations; Evaluate escalations and resolve appropriately to ensure customer demands are met; Provide customer service to internal and external customers to ensure consistent experience; Acts as a role model for colleagues with regards to technical and behavioural competencies; Act in accordance with company Information Security Policies and report any potential or actual Security events or other Security risks to the organisation; Ensure Department/Contract meets SLA performance targets; Demonstrates analytical and systematic approach to resolving complex problems and assignments; Broad experience in IT Service environment; Demonstrates effective interpersonal, literacy and numeracy skills; and Demonstrates awareness of health and safety at work.
Technical Skills required:
SharePoint Object Model (primarily JSOM); SharePoint Search - configuration, troubleshooting, customisations; PowerShell, including PnP; JavaScript; HTML; CSS (SCSS); REST API and jQuery;Nintex Workflows and Nintex Forms; SharePoint 2013 out of the box features and SharePoint designer; Experience of SharePoint Online; and Experience of Agile (SCRUM) will be beneficial.
Experience:
5+ years SharePoint development experience with a focus on client-side development; Advanced understanding of SharePoint architecture including advanced search configuration; Advanced working knowledge of JavaScript; Advanced working knowledge of HTML; Advanced working knowledge of CSS; Advanced working knowledge of REST API and jQuery; Advanced working knowledge of PowerShell; Advanced working knowledge of SharePoint Object Model (primarily JSOM); Advanced understanding of Nintex Workflows and forms; Advanced understanding of React; and Good knowledge of PNP.
