Renowned National IT Company is looking for a Senior Software Tester to join their Development and Integration Team.

Requirements:
IT Qualification in Software Development or similar is essential.
At least 5 years’ experience working as a Software Tester or Business analyst that has proven experience in software automation testing.

Skills required:
Must be strong and persistent, suggests alternate solutions/simplify to resolve yet remain flexible to logic. Must understand the business scope as well as the way in which the system is managed.
Needs to be able to demo to the Company’s business users, train users on new features and create and maintain the Company’s training manuals.
Which means professional, articulate with commercial understanding that can translate to the technical/development team.
Testing automation experience.
Experience in UX/UI processes highly advantageous.
Experience in Layout and user journey advantageous.


Duties:
Testing of software Applications
Developing test cases and creating test scripts required for successful software.
Recording results in test documentation.
Identifying and logging test failures.
Identifying problems & resolving them with the development team.
Working closely with the developers to have better understanding of the application.
Reading all the documents to understand what needs to be tested.
Creating and executing test plans for software development.
Developing test cases and create test scripts required for successful software.
Executing test cases.
Prioritizing testing activities etc.
Creating dummy data for testing and test new and existing applications.
Performing software testing.
Performing functional, integration, performance and regression testing.
Verifying SQL query and stored procedure.
Testing developed software against specified requirements.
Ensuring the resolved defects/failures are re-tested.
Updating test cases as required.
Ensure all tested related work is being carried out.
Performing regression testing whenever there are changes made to the code defects.
Designing testing scenarios for usability testing.
Performing final testing checks and giving the go ahead to go live etc.

Salary: R25000 – R32 000 ctc per month
