Drive innovation in all spheres of the Telco environment. Key focus given to creation, incubation and execution of innovative concepts which hold significant business or customer impact. Responsible for identifying acquisition opportunities aligned to innovation strategy. Role will function across the various technology focus areas within the Telco environment.

Duties:

• Responsible for the generation of innovative concept across multiple technologies and business areas
• Management of concept pipeline
• Obtain sign off on go-to-market plan, per concept
• Execute go-to-market plan, including achievement of agreed revenue milestones
• Engage market studies, providing relevant insights
• Consider complex investment and pricing models
• Develop Business cases
• Co-innovate with customers (both internal and external)
• Deliver Industry or Vertical specific frameworks
• Identify niche players for acquisition, partnership & JV’s
• Lead and promote a culture of performance excellence, employee engagement, innovation and transformation.

Qualifications

Relevant Degree/Diploma (NQF 6) in Business or Information Technology or related OR Matric

Experience

Degree/Diploma 5- 7 years’ Experience, of which at least 3 years must be at a senior specialist level
Matric 8 - 10 years’ experience, of which at least 3 years must be at a senior specialist level.

The experience must include relevant exposure to the ICT sector

Certification/ Professional Registration

• Product Management or Customer facing experience will be favoured
• Agile Project Management or Design Thinking qualifications will be advantageous

Special Requirements

• Must be willing to sign an NDA and adhere to Restraint of Trade requirements
• Required to travel locally and internationally
• Driver’s license
