You will responsible for executing and managing supply chain service across all channels of purchasing. Your key job responsibilities as theSenior Supply Chain Manager in Cape Town will include:

- Develop, implement and monitor the process of sourcing, evaluating, selecting and contracting of suppliers
- Compile tenders/ bids/ RFI/ RFQ/ RFP under operations and/or development/maintenance
- Collaborate with legal and CFO to ensure that suppliers are placed on contractual terms for non-performance or poor performance
- Engage with transformation officer to provide guidance to suppliers on how to improve their BBBEE status
- Compile and submit annual demand management and procurement plans
- Monitor and maintain contractual records, all procurement process documentation and compliance records
- Provide expert advice to end users regarding the development of both short- and long-term SLA’s
- Render assistance and administration support to line managers and their delegates, evaluation committees, adjudication committees regarding the performance of their SCM responsibilities
- Recommend appropriate procedures for storekeeping
- Monitor the application of storekeeping procedures

Requirements for this Senior Supply Chain Manager job in Cape Town:

- Bachelor's degree (BCom) in Finance with Accounting as a major
- At least 3 years’ relevant management experience in Supply Chain Management
- Accounting background required
- Project management experience
- Working knowledge of HRM, Risk management, Project management
- Working knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles in the public sector
- High level of report writing skills
- Knowledge of fleet management (advantageous)
