A leading land based operator is expanding portfolios and they have exciting opportunities in their brand new iGaming venture. They have an amazing new job opportunity for a SEO Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for delivering the on-site and off-site SEO strategy. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team and build on your experience both within SEO and marketing as a whole.

Your key job responsibilities as the SEO Manager in Johannesburg will include:

- Be the subject matter expert on all SEO topics, including site structure, internal linking, crawlability, content, meta tags, redirects, sitemaps and site speed
- Grow natural search traffic from search engines through on-site SEO best practice, link building and commissioning content for the website
- Own the SEO development roadmap of individual websites within the firm
- Competitive analysis and insights leveraging tools
- Work collaboratively across teams to drive SEO requirements through from ideation to release
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation
- Work with content teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
- Manage a suite of SEO tools to monitor and report on channel performance

Requirements for this SEO Manager job in Johannesburg:

- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong track-record of in-house technical SEO and collaborating across departments (content experience is desirable, but not essential)
- Experience in iGaming
- Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and web analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
- Experience with large data analysis across multiple tools and/or data sets (SQL, BigQuery, Tableau)
- Smart, hard-working, detail-oriented, organised, and motivated individual
- Passion for technology, marketing and its influence on consumer behaviour
