SEO Specialist – Remotely Cape Town or Gauteng

Our International Client is looking for a SEO Specialist to work SOLELY REMOTLEY. You may already work for an agency or as part of an in-house marketing team but are looking to remove the hours of commuting that you do each week to improve your work/life balance. Our client a digital agency, specialising in SEO, PPC and Digital PR. We work with clients across a range of industries, and countries, and are looking for someone to join our SEO team.

Salary up to R 375000 – R 520 000 CTC

As the role is fully remote, we won’t be there to hold your hand every step of the way, so we are looking for candidates with pre-existing knowledge, strong focus and goo time management skills.

Required Skills:
Ability to work to deadlines and deliver good SEO activity
Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Required Skills (SEO)
Fantastic copywriting skills
Strong grasp of Google Analytics and Search Console
Good familiarity with SEO Tools such as AHRefs, Majestic and Screaming Frog
Good knowledge of WordPress, Shopify and other popular platforms
Link building or Paid Media

Responsibilities:
Your day-to-day activities will look a little something like this:
Managing your time and workflow through Trello
Analysing Client Google Analytics Data
Copywriting (blogs and on-site content)
Keyword Research and On-site Optimisation
Backlink Reviews / Disavows
Competitor Analysis and Conversion Improvements
Technical SEO Audits (we have tools to help with this including DeepCrawl, SEM Rush & Screaming Frog)
Working with others in the SEO team to align client strategies
