PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To provide a professional, efficient and effective operational and / or support service that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the respective divisions within the PG Group. This role must support and contribute to a productive and professional work environment towards exceptional customer experience while on a continuous journey of learning and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE MIGHT INCLUDE ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:

Providing operational support in executing service and experience delivery to customers and stakeholders by ensuring the following activities:-
Comply with documented and scheduled housekeeping, cleaning and hygiene regime in and around the office, workshop, bathrooms and kitchen to ensure a clean, tidy and safe space for employees and customers alike
Raise maintenance and hygiene issues with management to address
Adhere to all other reasonable work related requests issued by Management
Comply to company policy, procedures and guidelines including Health and Safety requirements
Assist with operational / execution support activities and tasks such as, but not limited to:
General administration, filing, sorting of paperwork
Answering phone calls, welcoming customers, attending to office and service related duties
Any ancillary activities that support experienced resources to execute duties while enabling a an environment conducive to learning and skills transfer
Doing electronic or manual Vehicle Inspection Certificates (VIC’s), vehicle pre- and post-inspections, Chip repairs as appropriate (training dependent) and other similar activities
Assist with providing a professional glazing service on the customer’s premises by handling all types of glass and other glazing materials, assist with cutting and rimming of glass and securing of glass and other glazing materials in windows
Assist with operational /execution support in a production and/or manufacturing environment

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Qualification:

Matric is essential and may include:
Current Matriculant with Maths and Science (available for placement 2020)
Matriculated youth with maths and science

Skills:

Verbal and written literacy: Proficiency to read, write and converse in English
Numeric literacy
PC literacy
