RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) tasks
Conduct safety, health, environment, risk assessments, and audits
Complete incident investigations and record
Share observations with relevant Manager to create consistency in safety standards throughout the Distribution Branches
Conduct inspections with Maintenance Managers/Departmental Managers and capture action plans
Oversee the screening of contractor safety files for approval and ensure that proper Inductions are done before commencing any work on site
Monitor and ensure safety compliance of contractors on-site and their occupational health requirement
Conduct auditing of permit to work documents issued for site work
Coordinate Machinery Safety Assessments
Arrange for maintenance of equipment and update records/registers
Create SHE awareness
Share relevant information timeously with all concerned
Actively contribute to team objectives and team spirit
Ensure that SHE related training at the branches are conducted

REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
Relevant tertiary qualification
People management experience
Professional registration
Work shifts/weekends/public holidays
Travel off-site/overnight stay
