Job Title Short Term Administrative Assistant

Location: Bellville

Purpose statement To assist with administrative duties on the Short term product lines
Reports to: Short Term Advisor

Duties
New business
• Submit application and documentation to product providers
• Follow-up on outstanding documentation at product provider
• Follow-up on outstanding documentation and requirements with clients
• Request certificate of membership/policy doc once membership has been accepted
• Confirm acceptance with client
• Ensure that all compliance is attached to the new business
• Follow-up on new business quotes

Existing business
• Escalated Claims queries and follow-ups with product suppliers
• Assistance with scheme benefits
• Changes on membership with medical aid and GAP
• Request for letters or certificates
• Assistance with Pre-authorization requests
• Location of network suppliers
• General requests
• Year end reviews follow-ups on option changes
• Cancellations
• Retention on membership/policies

Formal Education
Matric
Fluent in Afrikaans and English writing and talking
Previous experience in the short term industry administration or quotations divisions.
Minimum 2 years experience
