Purpose statement
To grow the client base of the EFW advisor and lock the client in the value offering of EFW
Position in the organisation

Reports to: Snr Advisor and General Manager Financial Planning Centre

Subordinates: Support team

Duties
Sales and client retention
• Consultation with prospective clients to obtain information to provide quotes
• Provide accurate quotations and advice
• Sign up clients with relevant product providers
• Guide and assist claims assistants and clients
• Annual reviews and changes on policies
• Personal and commercial lines
• Adhere to compliance rules
• Full utilization of different systems

People
• Guidance and assistance with escalated requests
• Teamwork

Processes

Utilising of internal processes and systems
o Logging of all interactions with clients
o Notifying of referral advisors at all times of progress

Product Provider interactions
o Utilising product provider applications for quotations
o Ensuring correct information change between all parties
o Handling and resolving escalated requests

Compliance
o Ensure correct process is followed and adhered to
o Attend all product specific training where needed and keeping CPD points up to date
Administration
o Ensure accurate record keeping on system
o Timeously resolution of escalated queries
o Ensuring that all paperwork is obtained from clients to enable administrative personnel to do their work
General
o Understand all support team functions to be able to assist on all levels

Job Evaluation Criteria
Formal Education
Matric
Bachelor of Commerce or related degree
Excellent knowledge of English and Afrikaans (speak, write, understand)
RE 5 and CPD points up to date

Experience:
2 years relevant consultation experience in Commercial Lines
2 years’ experience as an Advisor

Critical Competencies Knowledge
- Product Knowledge: Santam, OMI, Hollard etc
- Systems knowledge – Quotation application of product providers
- Technical Knowledge – Commercial and Legal (Compliance)
- Technological: MS Office, Zoom and other electronic platform tools of engagement
- Bilingual (fluent in English and Afrikaans – speaking, writing, and understanding)
