Job Description:
This is an opportunity to join a well-established office and team which is growing rapidly. We require an Admin Clerk to provide an efficient administrative support function to the Adviser
Responsibilities:
• Register and processing of Claims
• Appointing of Assessors
• Claims support and administration
• Provide feedback to relevant parties
• Request quotations for clients and closing thereof
• Follow up on claims and underwriting
• Preparing new business quotes
• Issuing new policies, renewals and endorsements
• Negotiating renewal terms and preparing the renewal documentation
• Recording details and information on the relevant systems
• Assist Brokers
Skill sets required:
• Matric
• NQF Level 4 in Short-Term Insurance
• Successfully completed the RE Examination Level 1
• Relevant working experience essential in claims and underwriting on both personal and commercial lines within the short-term industry
• Very good communication skills (both written & verbal: Minimum requirement: English & Afrikaans)
