Site Agent - Civil/Concrete Water Retaining Structures

This Construction company based in East London is a diversified construction entity specialising in Civil earthworks, Road surfacing and rehabilitation, Construction of water & sewerage treatment works, Water reticulation and Township infrastructure development and concrete structures, is looking for suitably qualified Site Agent with a sound knowledge of heavy concrete structures and must have worked on a water works project, specifically a water retaining structure and who is prepared to travel when necessary.

Description:

• The position is responsible for the delivery of a construction project in particular Concrete water retaining Structures ensuring profitable, on time
and quality completion thereof and in past 5 yrs must have worked on water works project, specifically a water retaining structure. We are an
East London based company, so preferably the applicant must be willing to move to East London.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinates and controls the activities of site staff and agreed quality standards set out in contract.
• Liaises with clients, site staff and agreed quantities programmes etc.
• Sets and maintains production targets and operates within prescribed budgets.
• Submits monthly revenue certificates and cost estimates.
• Sets and maintains work sequences and construction programmes.

Skills, Experience & Education:

• NDip Civ Eng, Building or Construction Management
• A minimum of 10 years heavy civil Concrete construction experience of which a minimum 5yrs experience as Site Agent.
• The applicant must have leadership qualities and be innovative.
• Must be prepared to relocate to East London.
