Due to company growth, our client is seeking to employ a Service Technician in their Western Cape Operations.

Service Technician (Fixed Term Contract), George - R9,000 per month
The Site Technician will provide on-site services to our Client in George and ensure all deliverables, as agreed are met.
The Site Technician will be responsible for all day-to-day services within their Chemical Environment for the duration of the contract between our Client and the Company.

Knowledge and Skills
• Chemical stock control and issuing.
• Monitor chemical usage per department.
• Repair and Maintain dispensing equipment.
• Daily/ weekly reporting to Client and Management on matters pertaining to Cleaning and Hygiene
practices and issues.
• Pro-active in identifying chemical, water and energy saving opportunities.
• Effective problem solving.
• Accurate data gathering and report generation.
• Analyse concentration of in-use chemical solutions.
• Ordering, issuing and display of chemical safety signage in all areas.
• Maintain chemical storage areas in good condition ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are met.
• Support cleaning product trials.

Experience and Qualifications
• Graduate/ Chemistry or Engineering will be advantageous
• Working experience in the Food Industry essential
• Computer literate (e.g. Outlook, Excel and Word)
• Demonstrate Technical competence in engineering matters will be advantageous
• Good communication and report writing skills

Personal Attributes and General Requirements
• Driver’s license and own transport essential.
• Prepared to work Flexi hours.
• Fluent in both English and Afrikaans.
• Desire to learn and have good problem solving / troubleshooting skills.
• Self-Motivated and able to work with limited supervision and with close attention to detail.
