Our Client a Coal Mine Just outside of newcastle is looking for a Site Supervisor in charge of Diesel Infrastructure, systems and stock.

You will be responsible for the following on The Mines Site

1) Responsible for controlling the bulk diesel stock.

2) Checking the stock levels, re-ordering and receiving of all bulk stock.

3) Responsible for all Data management

4) Checking data integrity.

5) Collection and uploading of all data.

6) Recording of all receipts and dispense slips.

7) Responsible for reports (HSE, Incident, Consumption)

8) Responsible for training of personnel.

9) Responsible for safety and good house keeping at all storage and dispensing sites

10) Responsible for the maintenance of all fuel storage and dispensing equipment

11) Daily inspections of all nozzles and hoses

12) Responsible for the six monthly calibration of all flow meters to meet statutory requirements

13) Responsible for the planning and implementation of a preventative maintenance schedule.

14) Formulation of reports on SARS rebate reconciliation

15) Formulation of reports - consumption per financial period and production period

16) Maintenance of the offloading facility including Refueling Slab, Teaspoon Drains and Sumps

17) Maintenance of the storage facility including Pump Bund , Bund Wall and Sumps

18) Maintenance of the dispensing facility including Drip Trays

19) Reconcile the diesel stock and consumption on a daily basis.

20) Implementing Spill Control

Daily Reporting :

Prepare and submit delivery notes for all diesel delivered to the mine.
Submit a recon for all diesel dispensed, all diesel stock at the mine.
Submit a maintenance sheet for any maintenance carried out in the day.
Submit an incident report for any spill or health and safety incidents in respect of diesel.
Month End Reporting :

3) SARS - Reporting for SARS rebates - specific formats applicable and critical data required

4) Diesel Consumption (Financial and Production)

Working Hours :

Supervisor Monday to Saturday 07H00 to 16H00 (48 working hours per week excluding lunch hours)
