Exciting opportunity for a hands on candidate with extensive Linux experience and knowledge

setup DNS, DHCP, MYSQL and Apache
Pull apart a Linux system for troubleshooting kernel and library problems,
Bulk Patch servers in a controlled manner (i.e. understand the impact of patches on other layers like applications running on servers),
Setup and manage logical disk volumes,
Know bash and complex scripting (perhaps other scripting, e.g. python),
Know and can apply Linux complex commands well, harden servers security-wise,
Configure and manage services like networking, ssh, iptables, AD integration, file shares, NX/Apache standalone and Load Balance cluster setups, DNS, DHCP,
Setup and manage syslog/rsyslog in a centralised manner,
Analyse and troubleshoot, do proactive support, and
Manage and continuously improve a server footprint of 200+ Linux servers. (We support RedHat, CentOS, Oracle, SuSe, Debian (Ubuntu, others)).
Beneficial would be practical knowledge of Virtualisation like VMWare, Shared storage (SAN connectivity) and AWS IaaS type services, High Availability and Server layer Load Balance setups, and some Ansible/Puppy/Chef deployments)
