QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Matric
• Communication skills
• Thorough understanding of the local context and attitudes towards COVID-19 vaccination.
• Code EC or C1 driver’s license
• Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
• Professional Driver’s license/public license
• Post-matric certificate in computer literacy Including Excel, OR equivalent experience
• Certificate pertaining to Communication and Inter-personal Skills
• 1-year experience in Social Mobilization
• 1 year experience transporting passengers and having a valid Code EC or C1 driver’s license
• Proven communication skills
• Good interpersonal communication and selling skills
• Knowledge of COVID 19
• Ability to work independently and in a team

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Recruit potential clients in the community
? Conduct community-based small group and one-on-one education sessions about COVID-19 and the Vaccine with the goal of identifying interested clients
? Facilitate and Participate in community events to recruit clients for COVID Vaccinations
? Conduct outreach activities as per schedule of events.
? Distribute pamphlets and posters and arrange health workshops with community organizations
? Impart accurate knowledge to patients on COVID 19 and the vaccine to help potential clients make an informed decision about getting the vaccine
? Answer patient's questions as required
? Meet targets as set out by the programme manager
? Ensure that all identified clients are transported and linked to the vaccination sites
? Respect and ensure client privacy and confidentiality

Care of Mobile Unit
? Clean the vehicle inside daily in preparation for the next day
? Have the vehicle washed on a weekly basis
? Keep track on the vehicle date of service
? Reporting any incident, fault, or damage on the same day to the line manager
? Adhere to the laws on the road and RTC Vehicle Policy
? Always ensure a valid license as per requirements.

? Driving Responsibility
? Pick up the vehicle from the parking area at the clinic
? Drive to the point where the service will be delivered for outreach
? Assist with site set-up
? Connect air conditioner/generator when needed
? Keep accurate logbook before leaving and parking of the unit
? At the end of the day assist with breaking down the site
? Transport staff and equipment back to site.
? Provide any other duties upon request that are aligned to both RTCs benefit and the benefit of the programme.
