Your key job responsibilities as the Sound Engineer in Cape Town will include:

- Design and implement a world-class audio experience within new and upcoming games
- Collaborate with the team to create tools for implementation of sound and post production effects
- Work within a game editor to import, name, and organize audio assets
- Undertake large and high priority initiatives and be trusted to take them to completion
- Experience iterating on audio for a variety of game platforms, from mobile to desktop
- Contribute to the Audio Department pipelines and processes
- Strong technical proficiency
- Ability to work well with all departments and accept and run with feedback

Requirements for this Sound Engineer job in Cape Town:

- Demonstrated creative and technical achievements in sound design
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in game audio development
- Fluency in game audio implementation systems
- Experience with game development tools, such as Wwise, etc.
- Solid understanding of technical audio theory and audio engineering
- Understanding of Mobile, Desktop and Web audio functionality and limitations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Establish best-practices for technical audio workflows and ensure the application of this across all games
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver on deadlines
- Lead the optimization and refinement of current audio pipelines across all games
